The work of the trade union committee is carried out in the following areas:
- organizational work, motivation of union membership
- social partnership
- training of trade union activists and information work
- work to improve working conditions and labor protection
- legal protection of trade union members
- social activities, housing issues
590 members of the trade union are registered in the primary organization of the labor union of the employees of the Healthcare Institution "Clinical Maternity Hospital of Minsk Region", which is 99% of the total number of full-time employees of the maternity hospital.
The main instrument of social partnership is the collective agreement, which regulates the issues of working conditions, organization of rest, provision of benefits and guarantees to maternity hospital workers. The agreement allows expanding the scope of the current labor legislation, improving the working and living conditions of employees, and providing them with material assistance. The collective agreement was concluded in accordance with the established procedure for a period of three years and is valid from January 2023 to December 2025.
Mass cultural, recreational and sports work
The Trade Union Committee traditionally organizes the following cultural events:
- New Year's events for employees and children of union members
- International Women's Day
- Nurse's Day
- Victory Day
- Medical Worker's Day
- Mother's Day
- Initiation into the profession
The last excursion was organized to the city of Pinsk.
This year, the Minsk regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers held checkers and chess tournaments among health care institutions in the Minsk region.
On March 4, the Minsk regional sports competition among doctors was held to mark the 85th anniversary of the Minsk region and dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation.
14 teams took part in the competition. And our maternity hospital did not remain without awards - engineer Evgeniy Eduardovich Belchenko received a third degree diploma!
The trade union also takes care of the health of employees - it sends them from the FPB sanatorium, including youth mentors.
