Clinical maternity hospital in Minsk region is relatively young. In 1979, the first stage of the facility was commissioned - the gynecological and administrative building, in 1980 the obstetric building was commissioned and the first births were taken. In 1990, the second gynecological building and the rehabilitation building were opened.

Over the years, a close-knit, highly professional team with its own traditions has been formed.

The departments of obstetrics and gynecology, as well as neonatology of the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education operate on our base.

We are proud of the title «The hospital is friendly to the child», awarded to the Clinical Maternity Hospital of Minsk Region by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on December 14, 2001.

Our specialists provide planned and emergency medical advice to obstetricians, gynecologists and neonatologists in Minsk region.

To date, 304 beds are deployed in the maternity hospital, of which 140 are obstetric, 115 gynecological, 25 pediatric and 25 intensive care beds, including 12 beds for adult intensive care and 12 beds for anesthesiology and intensive care for newborns. There are two maternity wards, in which 5 delivery rooms, 2 gynecological departments, a pregnancy pathology department, an obstetric and obstetric-rehabilitation department, a physiological department with a day hospital, a department for newborns, a pediatric department for newborns with perinatal pathology and premature babies, women's consultation, clinical and cytology laboratory, ultrasound diagnostics department, regional endovideosurgical center. 140 maternity hospital doctors have qualification categories.

Working as a level III perinatal center for the Minsk region, we provide specialized specialized care for the most difficult patients. Over 3500 thousand babies are born in our country every year. Technologies for nursing newborns weighing less than 1000 grams have been mastered. In total, during the year, we carry out about 2500 abdominal operations and more than 1000 endoscopic operations.

The most modern obstetric technologies are introduced and used in our maternity hospital, partner and vertical childbirth is carried out. With the consent of the woman in labor, the husband or mother may be present at the birth.

Doctors strive to minimize all the worries and worries of a woman, using for this not only words, but also modern methods of pain relief, such as spinal and epidural anesthesia. Our patients are trained in breastfeeding, childcare, hygiene, and receive recommendations that will be useful at home.

Along with the introduction of modern highly effective methods of treatment and diagnostics in our maternity hospital, the system for the provision of additional medical services is successfully developing:

• Childbirth without Fear psycho-preventive training program;
• organization of individual patient care;
• training in psychological preparation for childbirth and others.
