X-ray room

In the X-ray room, all examinations are carried out according to indications using personal protective equipment and taking into account the individual radiation doses of patients and personnel.

Studies in the X-ray room are performed only if there is a referral to the specified type of study with the definition of the zone and purpose of the examination.

The office employs highly qualified doctors with extensive experience.

Treatment and functionality of the office

The X-ray room is equipped with modern high-tech equipment: a stationary digital X-ray device for mammography "MAMMOMAT Inspiration" equipped with an attachment for stereotaxic puncture biopsy, manufactured by Siemens, installed in October 2020; digital stationary diagnostic apparatus "Cosmos 535" manufactured by LLC "Drive" for X-ray studies, has been operating since 2018 and 2 X-ray mobile devices ("Sputnik-02" and "Basic") in intensive care units for newborns and adults;

The following are performed in the office:

• All types of conventional radiography;
• Metrosalpingography is an X-ray examination method for infertile patients;
• Digital mammography with tomosynthesis function, which allows diagnosing breast cancer at an early stage. Mammography is the "gold standard", the oldest and most reliable diagnostic method, thanks to which the majority of malignant formations of the mammary glands (with the exception of X-ray-negative forms) are detected. The digital mammography method allows you to reduce the level of radiation exposure, get results faster than usual, gives a more contrasting image of tissues, which makes it easier to identify subtle tumors. With digital mammography, the data obtained can be subjected to additional. processing and get more useful information.

Mammography should be done from 8 to 11 days of the menstrual cycle (from the beginning of menstruation), for women in menopause - at any time.

Study time for 1 patient - 30 minutes.

In the UZ "KRDMO" the patient is examined by a mammologist, if necessary, sent to the X-ray room for mammographic examination. Depending on the results of the study, the patient is handed the conclusion of a mammologist or is sent to a specialized institution to a mammologist oncommologist.
